Fizzing Jupiter
7th Oct 2020
P4 have enjoyed learning about the planets in our solar system.
We learned that Jupiter has a volcanic moon called IO and it is still active.
We recreated this moon during a science experiment.
In groups the children made their own IO using baking soda, water and water colour paints.
We had so much fun watching them fizz and dissolve as they released a gas called Carbon Dioxide.
